What are you reading?

“It’s Monday! What are you Reading?” is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. It is a chance for book lovers to share their reading accomplishments as well as what is on the proverbial nightstand. She even does a giveaway. Subsequently Jen and Kellee at Teach Mentor Texts added an opportunity for those reading kidlit to join the fun. Since I read both I will post to both. Check them out, join the conversations, and discover more great books.

Here is what I have read in the past month. I enjoyed many of these books for a variety of reasons. In fact, there is not a dud in the bunch.

I enjoyed many, but none that I need to shout about.

Moon over Manifest by Clare Vanderpool

Enhancing Writing Instruction by Bonnie Campbell Hill and Carrie Ekey

Simplicity Parenting by Kim John Payne

Sugar and Ice by Kate Messner

Meet Me In The Middle by Rick Wormeli

Disclaimer: This is my first post from an iPad with Blogsy. At this point it Felt clunky to do it this way, but it is here.

  2. Just was going to tell you about those covers! I liked Moon Over Manifest, but it isn't as good as I've thought about others. I have Gianna Z from the library but haven't started it yet. Thanks for sharing your books, Kristi.
